What you can request
- Incorrect website links, business names, addresses, or phone numbers.
- Wrong logos, photos, or outdated branding assets.
- Listing descriptions that are factually inaccurate.
- Category mismatches where a business appears on the wrong kind of page.
What to include in a correction request
- The exact TopRated page URL.
- The business name involved.
- A short explanation of what is wrong.
- The corrected information.
- Supporting evidence where relevant, such as the business website or an approved brand asset.
Faster handling tip
Requests move faster when they clearly separate factual errors from disagreements about ranking or wording preference.
How corrections are reviewed
We review factual corrections with priority over preference-based rewrite requests. If the issue is clearly factual and the evidence is straightforward, we aim to update it as quickly as practical. If a request affects a broader editorial judgment or category structure, it may take longer.
High priority
Wrong website, broken link, wrong logo, incorrect business name, or obvious category error.
Standard review
Broader copy rewrites, category-scope questions, or ranking-related editorial objections.
What a correction request does not guarantee
- It does not guarantee a higher rank on an editorial page.
- It does not guarantee a business will stay on a specific page permanently.
- It does not guarantee that descriptive copy will be replaced verbatim with submitted wording.
